Distelfink is my take on current day Pennsylvania German music. The sound combines folk, country and early jazz, set to a dance groove, and with lyrical content about traveling, happy memories, my farming experiences, the people and places in my life, playing sports, and love. The Distelfink is a bird commonly found in PA Dutch folk art, and is a symbol for happiness and good fortune. Through my music I want to connect with you in real and meaningful ways and be a part of the soundtrack to your life.
